“ Made a pitstop on the road and decided to walk in and get lunch. Very cute. The food is made very well at a reasonable price. The server sits you down on the table, gives you the menu and you have to walk back up to the front desk to order and pay. Then they bring your food to the table. ”
“ I usually get take out. Food is great, love the Asian salad and it is enough for two. The place is usually popular with the locals, so many people were there when I went to pick up food. I would suggest to call ahead of time to see if there is a wait. During the summer time you can sit on their deck. ”
“ Lola's Cafe is a charming local cafe and it was the perfect spot after a full day of hiking. The food was solid - the short rib grilled cheese was very rich and indulgent. We also tried the peanut noodles as the side, which ended up being a little saucier than we'd like. They were good to try for a bite or to but became a little heavy after that. Lola's burgers and the fries were a hit and overall, it was a very satisfying and satiating meal. There's ample street parking, which was very convenient, and the cafe itself felt like a warm retreat. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for some comfort good. ”
“ Stopped at Lola's on our way to the Catskills- great choice! Cozy outside seating. Order inside and the food is ready quickly and brought to you. They are dog friendly so we got to bring our doggo with us. I got the chicken wrap which was just what I was looking for. Crispy and fresh. The grilled chicken wrap was great too. Overall a nice experiences and the menu has something for everyone. Only thing I would add is more coffee options! ”
“ Great spot w outdoor seating for lunch! Got the chicken fingers and fries for the little one. Bustling! ”
“ This is the perfect place to eat on a beautiful summer day. The food is delicious. The location is the best for people and dog watching. It's an order inside and put your number on your table and they will bring your food out to your table , type of restaurant. We got a turkey and Brie panini, a short rib grilled cheese and a caprese panini. I had the caprese which was the best I've ever had. And the black bean and corn salad was the perfect side. The turkey panini was loaded with turkey and my friend had enough to save for later. The friend who had the short rib grilled cheese said it was delicious and very filling. We took home the brownie ,chocolate chip cookie and cranberry nut cookie for later and I'm happy I got them. They were delicious with coffee !! Lola's is a charming location with good food and has a beautifully landscaped patio that is dog friendly. Definitely give it a try if you are in New Paltz or Poughkeepsie!! ”
“ Lola is a great staple for lunch when I'm in the New Paltz area. I've dined in a few times but typically pick up to go. Even though the food may travel for a few minutes it never disappoints. For indoor dining the place is cute, and they have also great outdoor seating for the warmer weather. Some of my favorites are their burgers, ahi pita, fried chicken sandwich, turkey and Brie panini and their salads. They also have daily specials. The last time I was there I ordered the Cuban Panini. It was a little dry, so not my favorite dish I've had but still good. The portions are huge especially with the sides. Definitely check out if you're in the area! ”
“ Stopped for lunch yesterday. Lola's in New Paltz is "dog friendly", so that was a big plus, since our mini poodle, Dee, was with us. My wife ordered the Turkey & Brie panini, and I went with the Hot Chicken sandwich (my side was peanut noodles). We also shared a Sweet & Salty shake. Everything came out after a short wait. My chicken sandwich was extremely tasty, loved the coating, and the chili oil was spot on with the spice level. The spice level for the peanut noodles was also perfect, IMO. My wife throughly enjoyed her panini, the portion size was so large, she had to take half of it home. We both thought the Sweet & Salty shake was outstanding too. Service was stellar, the staff at Lola's Cafe are very friendly & attentive. The only downsides to eating outside here are the yellow jackets that descend on your food when it arrives, but I was able to dispatch a few and the rest seemed to "get the message". Also, there is a fair amount of traffic noise being so close to a busy street, but I'm sure that wouldn't be an issue (or the yellow jackets) if you are dining inside. All in all, a great experience yesterday at Lola's Cafe. We would certainly come back again if we are in the area. ”
